The Work Truck (WT) is the 2027 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 built in every cab and bed, with 2WD or 4WD. With its standard 350-hp TurboMax and 10-speed automatic, a properly equipped Regular Cab Standard Bed 2WD carries up to 2,340 lbs of payload. Each truck's door-jamb label lists its own capacity.

Custom adds dual exhaust, 20-inch wheels in Technical Gray Machine Faced finish, an EZ Lift and lower tailgate, Hitch Guidance with Hitch View, 120-volt cab and bed outlets and a 10-way power driver seat. Every Custom pairs the TurboMax with a Double Cab or Crew Cab, 2WD or 4WD.

The Custom Trail Boss brings a 2-inch factory lift to the 2027 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, plus monotube shocks, 34-inch MT tires on 18-inch Dark Android aluminum wheels, skid plates, a two-speed transfer case and red recovery hooks. All are 4WD Crew Cabs, with the TurboMax standard and the 5.7L V8 or Duramax optional.

Trail Boss keeps the lift, 34-inch MT tires and engine choices, then adds an off-road hood with an enhanced power dome, front bucket seats, the Multi-Flex center console, a flat-bottom steering wheel and Bose premium 8-speaker audio. Underbody cameras, the Multi-Flex Tailgate and Super Cruise are available.

The 2027 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 trim named Silverado (LT/Z71) splits by drivetrain: 2WD trucks are LTs, and every 4WD truck gets the Z71 Off-Road Package, with skid plates, Hill Descent Control and off-road suspension. Both get ambient lighting, Anderson Metallic bumpers, seat heaters up front and a heated steering wheel.

Double Cab and Crew Cab models come with the standard TurboMax or available 5.7L V8, and Crew Cabs can add the Duramax. Exclusive to this trim, the Max Trailering Package lets a properly equipped Double Cab Standard Bed 2WD with the 5.7L V8 tow up to 13,700 lbs, which Chevrolet notes is for comparison purposes.

High Country focuses the 2027 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 on comfort, with the 402-hp 5.7L V8 standard and the 481-hp 6.6L V8 (4WD) or Duramax 3.0L Turbo-Diesel available. Every one is a Crew Cab, either 2WD Short Bed or 4WD, with Adaptive Ride Control semi-active damping and 22-inch After Midnight-painted machine-faced wheels.

High Country also adds a panoramic sunroof, a 15-inch multicolor head-up display, an 11.5-inch passenger-side screen, a Rear Camera Mirror, a power up/down tailgate and an exclusive grille with Tritan Satin accents. Super Cruise with trailering comes standard and includes a 3-year plan.

Chevrolet bills the 2027 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 ZR2 as the most off-road capable ZR2 ever. Its Duramax 3.0L Turbo-Diesel is standard and a 6.6L V8 optional. Every ZR2, a Crew Cab Short Bed with 4WD, gets 35-inch MT tires on 18-inch wheels, front and rear e-lockers, a 2-inch factory lift and Multimatic DSSV plus jounce control dampers.

Standard front and rear underbody cameras with a wash system, Baja drive mode, the Multi-Flex Tailgate, a 34-gallon (approx.) fuel tank and Super Cruise with trailering round out the list. A properly equipped ZR2 tows up to 8,900 lbs (Duramax) or 9,600 lbs (6.6L V8).
